We have so enjoyed working with our featured client of the month, Larry Hillman. Larry is a minister in Tampa, Florida who came to us with a manuscript and a dream to start a children’s book series about “Champ.” We are pleased to announce that the new children’s book Champ, The Beginning is now available for purchase, and you won’t want to miss it!
Overseen by Project Manager Beth DeLemos, with illustrations from Jennifer Britton, cover art and layout from Amanda Barnhart, and edited by Kirsten Smith, Champ came to life. This little dog will capture the hearts of children ages 8 to 12, as they follow Champ on an adventure that will change his life forever. Just under 60 pages, this paperback will keep them entertained while teaching them a valuable lesson about worth.
Larry Hillman is truly a child advocate with a heart for teaching them their value in the eyes of God and their ability to overcome adversity by trusting that the Greater One is in and with them. With a B.A. in Elementary Education and an M.A. in K-12 Administration and Supervision, Larry is certainly qualified for his vocation as a children’s pastor and life-long educator, but his deep faith and 30-year tenure within the education system prompted him to do more including facilitating traveling programs to school and summer camps. Larry’s most recent project is a sports-themed organization for kids called Kidz R Champions 2, and his website is launching today, too!
