Second Annual Children’s Ministry Expo (CMX) a Huge Success!

And our very own Beth DeLemos was in the thick of it, representing The Winn Group among a vast group of resources for children’s ministry and sharing the marketing “scoop.”

Sponsored by our friends KidzBlitz, CMX is the place for children’s ministers to find tools to guarantee their success in a friendly and fun environment. High profile kids ministry leaders led workshops at CMX, including Jim Wideman, Amy Fenton Lee, Michael Chanley, Jeremy Collins, Gina McClain, Jenny Funderburk, Dale Hudson, Greg Baird, Tony Kummer, Justyn Smith, Roger Fields and more.

Beyond the workshops, nearly 140 vendors set up exhibits to share resources and ministry tools in a hands on experience including several 20 minute info-segments called “Scoops.” For The Winn Group, Beth led three Scoops: Authors & Curriculum Writers!; Social Media & Networking; and Save Your Kid Ministry from Being a “Best Kept Secret.”

Another exciting aspect of the event was the debut of the book Kidmin Leadership, co-authored by The Winn Group’s very talented Beth DeLemos. The book offers leadership  unparalleled insight on kids ministry by compiling the experiences of a diverse group of children’s ministers from various backgrounds but with the same heart.
