A dynamic leader and marketing expert known for his won’t-settle-for-just-good attitude, Shaun Winn is passionate about helping non-profits and cause-centric organizations expand their reach and success. Beginning his marketing career with World Vision in Seattle, WA, Shaun’s passion and pursuit of excellence helped fuel the orchestration of the highly regarded 30 Hour Famine Initiative.
Shaun later moved to Texas to work with Teen Mania Ministries positioning, branding and marketing two entities under the Teen Mania umbrella: Acquire the Fire and BattleCry (national youth conferences) and Global Expeditions (international missions). It was also while working with Teen Mania that Shaun developed his public speaking skills, traveling to more than 30 conferences each year across the U.S. and Canada and speaking to thousands of teenagers and youth workers.
In 2004, Shaun founded The Winn Group: a boutique marketing, advertising, logistics and communications firm serving cause-centric, non-profit organizations. The Winn Group was born out of Shaun’s desire to help organizations maximize their greatest potential. Shaun’s dedication and determination have paid off earning the agency several notable awards including Addy Awards (at the regional, district and national level) and PIA Awards as well as recognition by the DSVC.
A lead by example CEO, Shaun submitted to our interrogation obligingly. (He only made us re-phrase the questions a few dozen times).
